Can Leams reach their destiny in Doncaster!

Leamington head to Doncaster this weekend in search of silverware in the Papa Johns North Plate final, they will face Sunderland’s Peterlee & Horden RFC who over came Newcastle (Staffs) on Saturday.

This seasons Papa Johns Cup campaign has been far from straightforward, starting with conceding a 30 point first half deficit away at Bugbrooke RFC before coming back to win 39-41 with the last kick of the game flowed by a walkover win against Stockwood Park.
The quarterfinal saw Towcestrians visit Moorefields and an in form Leamington progressed via a convincing 39-24 win.
Unfortunately the semifinal was another walkover win with scheduled opponents Loughborough depleted by their efforts in the local cup competition unable to raise a team.

Having come so close over the last 2 seasons with narrow semifinal defeats the coaches and players are delighted to reach the showpiece finals day and will be doing everything possible over the next week of training to be prepped for success!

There are spaces on the coach to Castle Park which will depart Moorefields at 11:00 on Saturday if you’d like to reserve a spot please get in touch info@leamingtonrugby.co.uk
