The annual dinner was held at the club on Friday evening and we were pleased to see a good attendance from all parts of the Club. Thanks to Jacky and Ross and their team for putting on a super evening. The playing Oscars were awarded and the following had the opportunity to down a drink in one -

The AGM of the club was held on Wednesday 30 July and the draft minutes are attached for your information. You will see that there is a plea for additional help in running the Club – supporting the various teams and behind the scenes in the clubhouse and pitch maintenance and Committee roles. One of the jobs we would like someone to take over isthe 200 Club which is managed by Kit Forrest and is an important fund-raiser. If you think you can help, have a word with me or Kit

The Royals play their final league home game of the season on Saturday and this will be followed by end of season presentations

A few of the lads ( Stu Chamberlain, Dave Ward, Simon David etc) did a cycle ride in aid of Myton Hospice at the weekend, in memory of Peter Gray and as part of a £50,000 general appeal by the Hospice. We still have some tickets left over for the England game against Australia on 1 November at 15.10. The price is £117 and given how the Aussies rallied in the Lions games the game should become more attractive. Contact me asap if interested
