The rugby League season ended on Saturday with two regional finals, hosted at Moorefields. The Union season gets underway after this weekend’s bank holiday, with the first team starting with a trial game at home to Shipston on Saturday 30 August, followed by the first league game, away at Droitwich on 6 September

The fixture list continues to evolve and the latest version including - Firsts, Seconds and Veterans - is attached. The Colts and Women’s fixtures will follow

The Women’s team will be starting their second season and they are boosted by the Women’s World Cup which begins on Friday. The club and bar will be open as usual from 5.00 and will remain open for the game between England and USA, kicking off at 19.30. Details of special opening hours to cover the World Cup will be confirmed weekly.

We still have some tickets left over for the England game against Australia on 1 November at 15.10. The price is £117 and given how the Aussies rallied in the final Lions game and against South Africa last week I am expecting the final tickets will now so get your applications in.
