The Earlsdon fixture goers back to September 1927 and the beginning of our second season. Earlsdon is one of the oldest clubs in Coventry, going back to 1905 when they were based on a Baptist Chapel They won the first game of our series and continued to do so for nearly 10 years before we gained the advantage. Overall, we have played109 games, winning 60 and losing 41, the rest being drawn or the result not recorded. It recent years, Earlsdon have been down and up. They re-joined Level 6 this year and have done well – we beat them in the final minutes over there, so it should be close at Moorefields on Saturday.
