The first team slipped to its third defeat in a row when they lost narrowly by 36-40 at Kidderminster on Saturday. Both teams scored 6 tries, the difference being 2 early conversions that we missed. See John Warner’s report on the website
The Colts entertained Pinley at home and this was another high scoring game which finished 43-31 in our favour. It looked as though the game was going to be very one-sided as we scored from the kick off and then ran in a succession of long-range tries and were 33-0 up before the break. But Pinley scored just before half-time and they managed to chip away at our lead throughout the second period and got within striking distance of our score before the final whistle ended proceedings. Joe Blackwood and Jacob Haddow both scored hat-tricks for Leamington and Josh Powell got another. Joe kicked 4 conversions
